Didja miss me? I sure missed all of ya'll! On several occasions, I actually found myself wondering what my favorite bloggers could be up to. Withdrawal symptoms were setting in. Well, now I'm happy to be back & ready for some serious blogging!
How am I liking El Paso? So far, I'm LOVING it! The weather has been very nice with temperatures in the 50's & 60's & not a single snowflake to be seen :) We've been going to a couple different (yet connected) chapels on base & the people are really great! I'm really starting to know my way around base (I should, as many trips as we've taken there!). Wow, it takes a lot of paperwork for a little family to join the Army for Active Duty! We're just now really getting settled in, so I haven't had much of a chance to take a lot of pictures & what-not. That's my goal for the next few days.
As a matter of fact, the other day Issi, Eva & I went for a hike up the mountain behind our apartment & I FORGOT THE CAMERA!! But I'm sure it won't be our last hike :) Although it might be a little while because, half-way down, I twisted my ankle. Not fun. For a minute, I was afraid that Issi was going to have to carry me back down. And he already had Eva on his back. And I'm still working on losing a ton of baby weight. That would have been bad. But alas, I was able to make it back down with Issi's helping hand :) Now I understand literally what it means to "climb a mountain." And it ain't easy, ya'll!
So, how did the long trip to our new home go? Glad you asked. Here's that story in pictures :)
I'll be posting more pictures of life in El Paso (hopefully) soon!
One view from our patio. More to come....... :)

Bless your heart for adding the weather widget! ;-) Did you happen to forget anything in Iowa? Maybe I could bring it to you?! (hmmm, if I don't get stuck again trying to get out the driveway...)
